I despise UT, but I believe Kiffin may be good for them. It may take a year or two for people to see how good he will be in Knoxville when he gets his own recruits. However it could be a long season this year if that horrible offense doesnt show up.

We(Volunteer)fans, can't expect too much from him the first 2 seasons, but come the third season, I think all hell will break loose if he doesn't at least get a major bowl bid. That being said, he DOES bring a swagger with him that UT hasn't seen in a long, long time. I like him so far.
could be like Pete Carol at USC, not a great NFL coach but is perfect for the NCAA game. We will see. The foundation is there for a good year, not great but good. We had the #4 "D" last year and with this staff why not again. could the "O" be any worse than last year???
problem is kiffin was nothing but a total disaster in oakland, carrol didnt have a gigantic feud and meltdowns like that

I am not for sure which is one is crazier, Lane or Monte...... Monte appears to be one lively sucker for his age, between him and Orgeron I would be ready to run thru a brick wall on command.
